For the last five years, Mohammad Badran has been working as a consultant interventional radiologist at King Faisal Specialist Hospital. He obtained his MBBS from the University of Jordan in 1993. After doing his internship and one year of Medicine in Jordan, he did his five-year Radiology Training at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.
Dr. Badran did his two-year Interventional Radiology fellowship at Royal Liverpool Hospital in the UK and worked for eight years as a Consultant Radiologist at Mid Essex Hospital NHS Trust before joining his current hospital.
Dr. Badran’s interest is in the management and treatment of Vascular Malformations. He lead a multidisciplinary team at his institution to treat these conditions, including AVM, Venous Malformation, lymphatic malformation and several related syndromes. Dr. Badran has a considerable role in diagnosing and management of vascular tumors, such as hemangiomas.
Dr. Badran has a long experience in almost all aspects of international radiology, particularly the management of peripheral vascular disease and aortic aneurysms. For the past years, Dr. Badran has treated a significant number of patients with varicose veins, including pelvic congestion syndrome and genital varices. He has carried out a significant number of intra nodal lymph angiograms procedures to help manage lymphatic leaks and diagnosing congenital abnormalities.
